Our commitment to data protection for European visitors
Last updated: October 2024
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in European Union law on data protection and privacy. Although Azure-moor is based in Australia, we respect the rights of individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA) and process their personal data in accordance with GDPR requirements.
When we process personal data of individuals in the EEA, we do so based on one of the following legal bases:
If you are located in the EEA, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and information about how we process it.
You have the right to request that we correct any personal data that is inaccurate or complete any data that is incomplete.
You have the right to request that we delete your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
You have the right to request that we limit the way we use your personal data in certain circumstances.
You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transmit that data to another controller.
You have the right to object to processing of your personal data based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you.
As we are based in Australia, personal data of EEA residents may be transferred to Australia. Australia has been recognised by the European Commission as providing adequate protection for personal data. Where data is transferred to countries without an adequacy decision, we implement appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
